What Where When Why Who How FAQ Guests

The ceremony will take place at sea in international waters and will be performed by the captain or first mate of the ship. We will officially be married in the Bahamas where the ship is registered and where we will be visiting on this cruise itinerary.

After the ceremony there will be a two hour cocktail reception to follow with hors d'oeuvres and open bar.

How to book

This is a new and popular ship with limited availability for booking.

To make this possible please do the following:

  1. Check Here and decide which cabin class you would like.
  2. Decide how many and who will be staying in that cabin. Most cabins are for 2, but there are cabins that accommodate 3 or 4 guests.
  3. Call Royal Caribbean Group Reservations at 1-800-465-3595 to make your reservation.
  4. The Group ID is 243274 for our wedding.
  5. Leave $500 deposit for the cabin, (not per person).
  6. Complete your RSVP by 10.31.14 and return by mail
  7. Make final payment by 12.27.14
  8. Join us for the party!

Please book DIRECTLY with Royal Caribbean by phone or online. If you book through another travel site or with a travel agent it will create difficulty with your reservation being added any of our group activities.

If you feel that you are unable to currently make a commitment to attending our event we understand. You can wait to make a reservation but prices for cabins may increase or in some cases have already completely booked out. If you have questions or concerns please contact Genevieve at vivalaparte@yahoo.com so that we can make sure each of your concerns are addressed.

We are happy that you have received our invitation. Please be sure to return your completed RSVP in the self address stamped envelope by 10.31.14. If declining be sure to include your name.

How to dress

How you dress for the cruise is up to you, check the Royal Caribbean website for details on that. As for the ceremony, we suggest:

Ladies should wear: Summery evening dress/more formal sundresses, pants and a suit top or blouse with dressier sandals or simple pumps.

Fellas should wear: Long khaki pants and a button down shirt. Dress or boat shoes, Tie optional. Men may also wear polo shirt.

Please refrain from pool wear such as bathing suits, cover ups, casual flip-flops, shorts, jeans and tank tops.

On the evening of the wedding we have planned for dinner in the Grande as a group. This is the Formal Dining room and dress is Formal as well. Gentlemen will require a shirt and tie, a jacket is recommended. For those of you that have them, dust off the Tuxedos! Ladies this will be your chance to pack your favorite special occasion dress or little black dress and get gussied up.
